- Rice - 1 cup
- Cilantro - 1 bunch
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Green chilly - 2
- Grated Coconut - 1/4 cup
- Cinnamon - 1 small stick
- Cloves - 2
- Cardamom - 1
- Bay leaf - 1
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt
Grind cilantro, ginger, garlic, green chilly and grated coconut
to a fine paste. Heat pan, add oil, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf,
cardamom and ground paste. Cook till raw smell subsides and
good aroma comes out. Cook rice separately,allow it to cool and
mix it with coriander paste. Serve with raitha.
Oh, wow! I love coriander but never thought to infuse it with rice! What vibrant color!
