Ingredients:
- Parotta -3
- Grated Coconut - 2 tbsp
- Poppy seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Cashew - 10
- Maida - 1/4 cup
- Garam masala - 1 tsp
- Chicken masala - 1 tsp
- Ginger Garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Food color - pinch (optional)
- Cinnamon - 1 piece
- Cloves - 2
- Cardamom - 1
- Curry leaves - 2 strand
- Green chilly - 2
- Onion - 1
- Tomato - 1
- Cilantro - handful
Method:
- Soak poppy seeds in water for 5 mins before grinding.
- Grind coconut, poppy seeds and cashew to fine paste.
- Mix maida, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp chicken masala, food color and 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste to a batter consistency
- Cut parotta into small pieces, dip in batter, shallow fry and set it aside.
- Heat pan, add oil and fry cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, curry leaves,onion,green chilly and tomato
- Add 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp garam masala and 1/2 tsp chicken masala and fry till raw smell subsides
- Add 1/2 cup water, salt to taste and allow it to boil
- Add ground coconut paste and cook for couple of mins
- Add fried parotta pieces and mix well
- Garnish with cilantro and server with raita
