Veggie Fruit Chaat

Veggie Fruit Chaat, salad made with boiled vegetables, fresh fruit and Masala pori/Puffed rice, tossed with Indian chaat masala.

Serves:4

Ingredients:
  • Potato small (yellow, pink and violet) - 1 each
  • Carrot - 1
  • Fresh Corn kernels- 1 cup
  • Pineapple chunks- 1/2 cup
  • Pomegranate kernels- 1/2 cup
  • Apple - 1
  • Raisins - 1 tbsp
  • Sliced almonds - 1 tbsp
  • Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Jal jeera powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Masala pori/Puffed rice - 1 cup

Method:
  1. Cut potato, carrot, pineapple and apple to small chunks
  2. Boil potato, carrot, corn (do not overcook) and drain water
  3. Mix boiled veggie with fresh cut fruits and masala pori
  4. You can prepare Masala pori at home or use store bought masala pori.
  5. Toss with chaat masala and Jal jeera powder
  6. Garnish with raisins and sliced almonds
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy
