Ingredients:
- Rice Flour - 1 cup
- Sour Butter milk - 1 cup
- Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Green chilly - 3
- Urad dhal - 1/2 tsp
- Bengal Gram dhal - 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves - 1 strand
- Oil
- Salt
- Heat pan and add little oil
- Fry mustard, urad dhal, bengal gram dhal, chopped green chilly and curry leaves
- Add sour buttermilk to fried ingredients and salt to taste
- Allow for one boil and switch off stove.
- Add rice flour and mix well without any lumps
- Allow to cool down till its warm and can be handled with hands
- Apply oil in hands or use a greased flat plate
- Make small lime sized ball and flatten it with a hole in the center
- Deep fry in hot oil
- Repeat it for remaining dough
- Serve hot and enjoy. Does not require any dip or chutney to serve with this vada.
