Sooji Mango Cake

Sooji Mango Cake, sooji mixed with mango pulp is low-calorie, soft and moist cake.

Serves:4

Ingredients:
  • Coarse rava/semolina/sooji - 1/2 cup
  • Fine rava/semolina/sooji - 1/2 cup
  • Sweetened Mango pulp - 1 cup
  • Butter - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Cardamom - 2
  • Almond - 10 
  • Raisin - 10
Method:

Pre-heat oven : 375 deg C
Baking time: 30-40 mins
  1. Mix coarse rava, fine rava, sugar, baking powder and powdered cardamom
  2. Add 5 chopped almonds,  melted butter, mango pulp and allow it to set for 10 mins
  3. Place ingredients in a greased cake pan and bake 
  4. Bake till its cooked all the way inside (check with fork)
  5. Allow it to cool, remove from cake pan, cut into pieces 
  6. Garnish with fried raisins, remaining almonds and serve
