Mangalore Bonda is a traditional Karnataka snack made from maida and plain yogurt. Its easy to make appetizer which does not require any soaking and grinding of ingredients like regular bonda.

Ingredients:
- Maida - 2 cup
- White Onion - 1/2
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Green chilly - 4
- Baking Soda - pinch
- Sour curd/yogurt - 1 cup
- Salt
- Oil
- Finely chop onion, ginger and green chilly
- Beat curd/yogurt with little water
- Mix maida with curd, onion, ginger and green chilly without any lumps
- Add pinch of baking soda and salt to taste
- Bring it to a consistency which is slightly thicker than idly batter
- Heat oil in kadai and drop batter using ice-cream scoop or apply oil in hand and shape it round
- Serve hot with any chutney
