- Rajma - 2 cans or 2 cups soaked/cooked
- Tomato - 6
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Green chilly - 2
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Jeera - 1 tsp
- Hing - pinch
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Kastur methi - 1 tbsp
- cilantro - 1 string
- Sugar - pinch
- Salt
Grind tomato, Ginger and Green chilly to a paste
In a pressure cooker add oil, jeera and hing
Add ground tomato paste
Add turmeric, red chilly, coriander, cumin powder and salt
Allow it to boil till oil separates
Add Rajma and 2 cups water, close the lid and pressure cook to 1 whistle
Open it when pressure is released
Add pinch of sugar and Kastur methi
Garnish with cilantro
