Rava Idly

Ingredients:
  • Coarse Rava/Sojji - 1 cup
  • Semiya/vermicelli- 1/2 cup
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard - 1/4 tsp
  • Urad dhal - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilly - 1
  • Ginger - 1 inch 
  • Curry Leaves - 1 strand
  • Baking soda - pinch
  • Salt
  • Curd - 3 cup
  • Carrot shredded - 1/4 cup
  • Boiled peas - handful
Method:

Heat a pan, add oil, mustard, ural dhal,cumin seed,pepper,curry leaves,
cut green chilly,ginger,add Rava/Sojji and Semiya/vermicelli and fry till
aroma comes. Add salt to taste. Allow it to cool. Mix it with 2 cups of curd
and allow it to set for 15 mins. After 15 mins, add remaining curd and bring
it to idly batter consistency. Grease idly plate with oil and add shredded carrot
and peas,pour the batter and cook it for 20 mins in idly cooker.
