Kathrikai Kothamali (Brinjal Cilantro) Thuvayal

  • Brinjal/Kathrikai - 3
  • Cilantro/Kothamali - 2 cup
  • Coconut -1 cup
  • Tamarind - small piece (blueberry size) 
  • Green chilly -2
  • Urad dhal - 1 tsp
  • Hing - pinch
  • Oil - 2 tsp
  • Salt

Heat a pan,add oil, urad dhal, green chilly, hing, brinjal and allow it to
fry till the skin shrinks.Add cilantro and fry for a min,add grated coconut
switch of the stove and allow it to cool. Grind fried ingredients with
tamarind and salt to a fine paste. Can be served with rice, idly or dosa.
