  • Whole green gram - 1 cup
  • White onion - 1/2
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Green chilly - 1
  • Cilantro - handful
  • Idly Milagai powder - 2 tsp
  • Gingelly oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt

Soak Green gram dhal for 5 hrs. Wash and grind it coarsly.
Add salt to taste and water if needed and bring it to dosa batter
consistency. Heat dosa tawa, add batter and spread it thin, when
its half done sprinkle finely chopped onion, ginger, green chilly,
cilantro and idly milagai powder. Pour oil around edges of dosa
and fold it into half. Cook on both sided. Serve with Chutney or
Kara kuzhambu.
