Spinach Paratha


Ingredients:
  • Wheat flour - 2 cups
  • Spinach - 2  cups
  • Chilly flakes -1 tsp
  • Cumin - 1/2 tsp
  • Hing/Asafoetida - pinch
  • Oil - 1 tsp
  • Ghee - 2 tsp
  • Salt
Method: 


Mix wheat flour,salt and water and knead it into a smooth dough
and set aside for 1 hr. Make small balls of wheat dough.
Heat pan, add oil, cumin seeds, hing, chilly flakes and cut spinach
and fry till water is evaporated out of spinach.Allow it to cool and
make small balls.Roll Wheat ball to 3 or 4 inch diameter and place
spinach ball and wrap it like a dumpling. Repeat it for all remaining
wheat and spinach balls.Set aside for 5 mins and then roll them to 9
inch diameter. Heat a flat pan and cook paratha on both sides.
Drizzle ghee on top of the parathas.


Tip: Use chopper or food processor to knead dough
